Bobby loved the Lord and enjoyed worshiping HIM through Gospel Music, Prayer, and Daily Scripture Reading. He was raised in a Christian family and accepted the Lord into his heart, as his Savior at a young age. Gospel music opened up a pathway for Bobby to worship his LORD with all of his heart and soul on a daily basis. He loved to meet with Fellow Christians and to sing his favorite songs. The songs being sung at his Service were chosen by him.
As a Boy Scout, Bobby received their highest goal when he received the Eagle Scout Award. Scouting instilled in him the principles of morality and taught him to love the outdoors, camping, and survival training. As an adult, he became a Boy Scout Leader. Many weekends were enjoyed by him at Boy Scout camps training his troop Survival Skills. He also filled the role of a substitute father for many who had no father as a role model.
While camping with his family in the Tennessee Amish country, Bobby developed a deep love for the mountain area. He fell in love with their woodworking and became a collector of other products that they produced. A goal of his was to move to Tennessee in order to enjoy the scenery and his love for All Amish.
His family had a very Strong Bond of Love for each other. His mama, dad, sister, and he loved camping, fishing, and being on the water in the boat and pontoon. They were a typical Southern family who loved making homemade ice cream and having watermelon cuttings. One of Bobby's favorites were his mother's peanut butter cookies.
They also enjoyed going to Trade Days to shop. Bobby collected knives and enjoyed the selling and trading of them at Dog Town. He also enjoyed collecting Indian arrowheads among other items.
He graduated from Lincoln High School, Alabama, in 1979. He was a very strong football player for the school's Golden Bears football team. During high school, he graduated from the Winterboro Trade School in Carpentry.
While being an employee at the Anniston Army Depot for 10 years, he drove a Talladega County school bus. He also worked Security at the Talladega Racetrack. While working as Food World's Stock Manager for 21 years, his leadership and teamwork skills were recognized.
He developed strong friendships over his lifetime. Bobby has left an example for others to follow.
