Cynthia Hullett Goodwin, age 51, of Vandiver, Alabama passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020. Cynthia was born March 26, 1969. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 2 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 12-2 pm at the church. Burial for Cynthia will be held after the funeral at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Cynthia, affectionately known as Cindy, was a super woman with a heart of gold. She fought a long, courageous battle with cancer. She has now gained a new, perfect body and has been reunited with her beloved son, Dustin. She had a boundless generosity of spirit. She was both fun loving and playful, and a firm shoulder on which to rest a weary head. Her many loved ones were not ready to say goodbye here on Earth, but many others greeted her at the gates of Heaven. She shared many beautiful moments with her granddaughter, Destiny. The bond she shared with her momma was unbreakable. Her brothers and sisters will miss all the fun and mischief they have had over the years. Their many special times will be fondly remembered. A special thanks to all who helped during these trying times.
Cynthia is survived by parents Patricia Bunt (Leon); brother Franklin Delano Hullett Jr, brother Jeffery Lane Hullett, sister Ramona Bunt Harwell, sister Cindy Bunt Harris (Rob), sister April Bunt Smith (Bryan) and sister-in-law Mary Ann Bunt; grandchild Destiny Leigh-Ann Bunt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her son Dustin Lynn Goodwin; father Franklin Delano Hullett; brother Elton Darryl Bunt; nephew Joshua Wayne Langham, nephew David Brandon Smith, grandfather Herschel Dawson, grandmother Theola Dawson, grandfather Finus Hullett, and grandmother Maggie Hullett.
