Douglas Church

PELL CITY – Funeral service for Douglas N. Church, age 63, will be held Sunday, February 11 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pell City First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Valley Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Church.

Mr. Church passed away February 8, 2018. He is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Ruth Church. He was a member of Alabama Artillery and coached youth basketball in Pell City for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Church; daughters, Heather (Jeremy) Adams, Amy (David) Box; grandchildren, Anna Elizabeth Adams, Samuel Richard Adams, Ethan Douglas Box; parents, John P (Patty) Church; brothers, John M. (Karien) Church, Billy Wayne (Rita) Church; sister, Jennifer (Ozzie) Syck; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
