Howard Eugene Barber

Howard Eugene Barber, age 71, of Ragland Alabama passed onto Heavens gates May 28, 2021. Howard served the Army during the Korean War. He was proud of his time in the military and proud to serve his country.

He enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. They were his whole world as he was theirs. He also loved to fish and go boating.

Howard is preceded in death by his sister Mary Alice Bush, mother Flora Jane Mills Barber, father John Felton Barber. He is survived by his daughters Melissa (Scott) Mulkey, Amy (Ryan) Johnston, Lisa Lowery, and Angela Phillips. By his sons Jamey (Carrie) Barber, and Eric Phillips. By his sister Dean (Roger) Brasher, brother Cecil Barber. By his life partner Sue Campbell. By his many grand kids: Victoria Barber, Kira Embrack, Aaron Scott, Zanovia Harris, Kinsey Johnston, Jacob Johnston, Eli Johnston, Tatum Johnston, Logan Barber and Lynnlee Barber. By his great grandkids: Ava Pilkington, Hayden Pilkington, Isabella Pilkington, Ella Pilkington, Camora Reid, Kailani Embrack, Waylon Hudgens, and Emma Hudgens. Along with nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends.

He was loved by all that knew him and they knew he would do anything to help anyone even when he didn't have it to give. His love of God and family goes beyond everything. He will be missed by us all but never forgotten as his memories will live on within each of us.
