John Wesley Gregg

PELL CITY – Funeral Service for John W. Gregg, age 88, will be held Friday, February 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Logan Martin Church of Christ. The family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Church. Graveside Service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Church of Christ Cemetery in Lineville.

Mr. Gregg was born December 24, 1932 and passed away February 2, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, A.D. Gregg and Thelma Lois Gregg; sister, Lucille Hill; and wife, Mevlee Gregg.

He is survived by his special friend, Mary Shuler; sister, Louise Craft; brothers, Lewis Gregg (Carol), Horace Gregg (Maria) and Jimmy Gregg (Dixie) and children, Johnny Gregg (Cheryl), Brenda Smith (Kent), Jerry Gregg; grandchildren, Jonathon Jones, April Streety (Zack), Brad Gregg (Amber), Tony Smith (Michele), Amber Marie Bell, Wesley Smith (Erika), Julie Gregg Patterson, Jarrod Gregg (Nikki); seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the Liberty Church of Christ Cemetery Fund or The Col Robert L. Howard State Veterans Home.
