Larry Oliver George

Larry was known by many as either pawpaw, dad, or even George. He was a devout Christian and was baptized on January 18, 2016 with his son Joseph at Eden Westside Baptist. He knew he had a place in Heaven alongside his loving family members that have been waiting to welcome him home.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Joseph Olin George and Grace George. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Lynn George; brother, Jospeh George; and daughter, Tracy Boyd.

He is survived by his three sons, Joseph George (Tanya), Jeffrey George, and Marty George. Along with his sons, he survived by his brother, Kenneth George (ann); granddaughters, Haley McNutt (Jonathan), Sara Faye George, Kaitlinn Jones, and Brenttany Jones. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and a slew of family and friends.

A visitation will be 12:00 pm to 1:00pm Thursday, May 08, 2025 at Eden Westside Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 1:00pm Thursday, May 08, 2025 at Eden Westside Baptist Church.
