June 1, 1935 - June 9, 2025
Margaret was born June 1, 1935 in Eden, AL and graduated from Pell City High School and the Sylacauga School of Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, Margaret was passionate about nursing and always treated everyone with great care, compassion, and respect. Over the years she worked as a nurse at Jackson Hospital in Miami, Fl, Dr. John Haynes & Dr. Horace Clayton offices in Pell City, Baptist Montclair in Birmingham, Al, and spent 27 years at Ingram Manor Nursing Home in Pell City as the Director of Nursing. Margaret was a long term and active member of New Hope Baptist Church in Eden.
Margaret had many titles in life; wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, sister in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all. However, we know she has seen Jesus and we rejoice that her body has been eternally healed and that she has been reunited with her husband and her family members that have gone before her. We look forward to the day when we see her again.
She is survived by her Son, James Bearden(Jennifer), her 4 sisters Sarah Stewart(Glover), Mary Jim Campbell, Ann Arnett(Don) and Patsy Watson. Grandchildren: David Bearden(Rita), Andrew Bearden & Mark Bearden. Great Grandchildren: George Bearden & John Bearden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bearden and her parents, James E. Ingram and Evelyn Robertson Ingram.
Our family would like to thank Danberry at Inverness, Memory Care for their love and care of Margaret over the last 1 ½ years and would also like to thank Lakeside Hospice for their care and compassion.
A graveside service will be held at New Hope Cemetery in Pell City, Alabama on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Hope Baptist Church, in Pell City, for missions.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.kilgroefh.com for the Bearden family.
