Patricia Perkins Weese

Patricia “Trish” Weese of Lincoln, Alabama, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at her residence surrounded by family. A funeral service will be held at Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church on Friday, August 29, 2025, with Pastor Michael Barber officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church Friday, August 29, from 1:00-2:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. Kilgroe Funeral Home will direct.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Perkins; sons, Michael Lee Perkins and Jackie D. Perkins; parents, Virgil J Gallups and Mavis Hollingsworth Gallups; and sister, Brenda Faye Dorough.

She is survived by her husband, James Weese; son, Gregory James Perkins; grandchildren, Stephanie Perkins and Jack Perkins; brother, Jimmy D Gallups (Judy); sister, Wanda G Thornton (Roger) and Jeanette G Allen (Larry). Patricia is also survived by six nieces and nephews who will miss their Aunt Shu-Shu.

The Pallbearers will be Jerome Jennings, Clint Morrow, Travis Webster, Colton Dorough, Alex Allen, and Roger Parks.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caregivers with Affinity Hospice in Pell City. Each caregiver deserves a special place in Heaven for their tireless efforts to comfort and care.
