

On January 29th, 2025 Robert J Walsh passed away. He did so with such courage, grace, and devotion. He received his last rights from father Saxton, our parish priest. He was able to still say the Lord’s prayer and make the sign of cross in honor of our Lord Jesus Christ. Robert was surrounded by his family and his wife, Barbara Walsh of who he was married for 66 years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He retired after 35 years of service with the airlines. He also served in the military in honor of our country. Robert had a passion for bass, fishing, duck, and pheasant hunting, of which he shared with many.. He also loved Alabama football and the Green Bay Packers. He was a member of Amvets, American Legion, knights of Columbus, St . Jude’s and Shriners. He was a gold circle supporter of VFW and disabled veterans. He was also a parishioner at our lady of the lakes Catholic Church. He was a hard-working committed man to his family into his faith. He has now left us to join our heavenly father with all the angels and Saints in heaven. Robert is preceded by his father, James R Walsh, mother Rosella, M Walsh and his two brothers James and Patrick Walsh. He leaves behind his loving wife, Barbara J Walsh, two children, Michael, J, Walsh and Theresa, L Walsh and a granddaughter Alexis M Walsh..
