She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Whalen; son, Eddie Whalen; grandchildren, Will and Alex Whalen; sisters, Pat Shackelford and Dale Mashburn.
She is preceded in death by her two sons, Michael Keven Whalen and Jeffery Scott Whalen.
A visitation will be held Friday, June 28, at Kilgroe Funeral Home starting at 10:00am with a graveside service to follow at 11:30am at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
