Sarah "Kattie" Morgan Deifenderfer

Sarah Kathleen “Kattie” Morgan Deifenderfer, age 84, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Kattie was born December 30, 1937 in North Carolina to Lee Berry and Fannie Lorraine Bailey Watts.

Kattie is survived by her daughters: Cindy Morgan McLaughlin (Ken) and Katherine (Dee Dee) Morgan Royle (Randy); her sister: Ore Lee Tipton; her grandchildren: Timothy Miller, Ryan Royle (Cassie), Katelyn Reilly (Quinn), Tyler Royle (Devyn), Grace Royle, James Royle and Luke Royle; her granddaughter-in-law: Lisandra Miller; her great grandchildren: Emmitt, Nolan, Naya, Theodore (Teddy), Robin and Clark Royle, Margaret and Charlotte Reilly, Paxton and Grayson Miller; and several nieces and nephews.

Kattie was preceded in death by her husbands: Ralph Dexter Morgan and Harold Deifenderfer; her parents: Lee Berry and Fannie Watts; her sister: Francis Watts Cook; her brothers: Bobby Gibbs and Jimmy Watts, and her grandchild: Patrick Miller (Lisandra).

A visitation for Kattie will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home with a celebration of life funeral to follow. Interment will occur Friday, March 25, 2022 at Forest Crest Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama.
