I’m saddened to hear this news over the weekend.  I hadn’t talked to Larry much in the past 5-10 years, but I sure will miss him.  My sister ran into him about a year ago and glad she shared this pic with me when she did.

I remember being in school, gifted class, playing sports, golf, and poker with Larry growing up.  He always had a smile on his face whether things were going well or not.  Until we meet again, I will do my best to do the same when I think of him.  Praying for his family and friends during this difficult time.  He is in a better place now.  Mathew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Today has been a very hard day for me. I lost a very very dear friend today. He wasn’t just a friend but family. I can’t even begin to express how devastated I am right now as I know so many are . If you knew him and he was a part of your life then you have been truly blessed. He was one of the most selfless people  I knew. He would do anything for anyone!  I’ve known him since college and the last few years we have grown extremely close. He has become my best friend and life won’t be the same without him. I know he is at peace in heaven with his family. I was sitting on a canyon top in Gods beauty thinking about him as I knew he was soon to leave this earth and I felt the warm sun on my face and there had been no breeze at all and all the sudden a cool breeze came over me.. Few minutes after I received a text from his aunt saying he was with Jesus now.  I just knew that breeze was Larry letting me know he was ok and at rest. Praying for all family and friends. My heart is broken and I will miss him everyday. I will miss our Tuesday dinner dates to moes! He loved that place! Even though I travelled to another state for work, we would still try to have our weekly dinner dates from a far. I even convinced him to come out to Phoenix to visit and go to the Grand Canyon  and California for thanksgiving! He even picked the place.  Malibu . Right on the beach  he said was a must in Malibu. He wanted to do it right he said lol . I will still take the trip so you can enjoy it with me from above! I know you’ll be there with me!  I love you Larry Mize!! I’ll never find another like you!❤️
