Thomas Edward Morton

Tom is survived by his wife, Ruth C. Morton, of 28 years of marriage; daughters Mary Clinkscales (Gary), Frieda Mathews, Crystal Lee; son Aaron "Buddy" Lee (Christy); sister Katherine M Hunter (Edward); 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Thomas and Rosa Lorene (Hughes) Morton; and son Thomas Allen (Pete) Morton.

Mr. Morton served in the United States Air Force for 20 years retiring in 1972. Once retired, he started his business of carpentry, which he loved dearly. He worked until his health began to fail. The family would like to thank St. Vincent's St. Clair ICU staff for the care he received and for the veterans send off he was given. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Heart Association.

A visitation for Tom will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home with a celebration of life funeral service to follow. An interment will occur Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Valley Hill Memorial Cemetery.
