Survivors include her son, David Rich (Dori); her daughter, Heather Rich Whitten; a brother, Sterling Harmon (Janice); a sister, Deborah Harmon Waldrop; five grandchildren, Emma Rich, Merrell Whitten, Braxton Belle Rich, James Whitten, and Sarah Beth Whitten; four nieces, Stephanie, Jeromy, Ashley, and Mitzi; and one nephew, Jerome.
She was a lifelong residence of Pell City and graduated Pell City High School in 1972. Mrs. Rich retired from the Pell City Board of Education after 18 years of service and was a devoted mother.
