

Frank was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 6, 1933, the son of Dominic and Concetta Tabali Mauro. He married Leona W. Jud in 1957.
He was a salesman for Suburban Foods in Syracuse. In addition, he was a professional singer with a certain affinity for Frank Sinatra. He was also a Yankees fan.
Frank is survived by his two daughters, Bridgid Rogers (Rick Notebaert) of Penn Yan and Beth Rossiter (David Carter) of Rochester; son, Ernest (Linda) Mauro; grandchildren, Benjamin Rogers and Emma Lee Rossiter; brother, Michael Mauro of Long Island; dear friend, Kim LaBarr, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Leona W. Jud Mauro; brothers, Paul, Ermie, Sam and Eddie; sisters, Josie & Laura; and son-in-law, Jim Rossiter.
Friends and family may call from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, September 16th, 2011 at Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 East Elm Street, Penn Yan. There will be a memorial service following the visitation. Interment will be at 10am at St. Michael’s Cemetery on Saturday, September 17th, 2011 with Father Stan Kacprzak officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Mauro’s name may be made to the
Alzheimer’s Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.
