John C. Bridges

Mr. Bridges was born in Geneva, NY on November 29th, 1919, the son of the late, George W. and Mildred (Seabrook) Bridges. He was employed with Walker Built of Penn Yan, Bush Music, Geneva Forge, and retired as the purchasing agent for Penn Yan Express. He was a former member of the Penn Yan Moose Lodge. John was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy R. (Corey) Bridges on October 26, 1992 and brother Gardner Bridges. Survivors include his sister, Margaret Miner of California; cousin, Bob Marshall of Geneva; and many wonderful Nieces and Nephews.

Friends and family may call from 1pm to 2pm on Friday (April 13th) at the Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY, where his funeral service will be held immediately following. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Penn Yan, NY. www.townsendwoodfuneralchapel.com
