A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 30th at Milo Center Methodist Church. Afterwards, a celebration of life will be held at the Penn Yan Moose Club.
Patty was born April 11th, 1943 in Penn Yan, to Mr and Mrs James M and Dorthy Eaves. In 1961 she graduated from Penn Yan Academy. Patty married the love of her life, Pete Townsend, on Saturday, February 15th, 1969. The marriage took place at the Milo Center Methodist Church, and was officiated by Rev Charles Hess. She happily worked alongside her husband at their family owned business, TRT Masonary.
There was nothing more that she enjoyed than being at their lakeside home. Whether it was boating, laying out in the sun, or kayaking, Patty loved being on Keuka Lake. She especially loved Sundays, because that's when the family would gather, cookout, and enjoy each others company. She took a lot of pride and joy in gardening, so her flowerbeds always looked exceptional. Patty always had a deep fondness for horses. So much so that in her earlier years, she would compete in Western Style Competitions. From which she earned many trophies and honors with her horses. Pete and Pat both shared a deep admiration for cars, so they would spend countless hours cruising around together. If she was indoors, you would probably find her cross stitching. Her beautiful pieces are accented all throughout the home. Patty lived a beautiful life filled with endless friends and family.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents Mr and Mrs James M And Dorthy Eaves. Her Parents in Law, Mr and Mrs Joseph and Margret Townsend. As well as her four brothers in law, Joseph and James Townsend, Gordon Wilber, Walter Brown, and her sister in law, Mary Brown.

Grandchildren, Zachery (Christi Dorsey) and Brandon Young, Mia (Ryan Muller) and Mason Covell (Sara Partee), and Owen Henderson. Sister Kathy Blanchard and brother James A (Linda) Eaves.
