
Bob was born on October 16th, 1929 in Sunbury, PA, the son of the late Wade and Fannie (McNeely) Logan. His family relocated to Pulteney, NY where they owned and operated the Wade Logan Funeral Home. He graduted from Penn Yan Academy in 1947 and enlisted in the US Army. Following his enlistment, Bob attended and graduate from Simmons Institute of Embalming and Funeral Directing. Bob and his mother carried on the funeral home in Penn Yan following the passing of his father. Following his career in funeral directing, Bob began his own electrical contracting business. Bob was a member of the Odd Fellows, the Penn Yan American Legion, Rochester Theater Organ Society, and the First Baptist Church of Penn Yan.
Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pauline 'Polly' A. Logan; children, Jane Angell, Tim (Nailya) Logan, and Loni (Michael) Terpolilli; grandchildren, Rachel and Griffin Angell, Josh Logan, Negina Alieva, Emil Aliev, Zachary and Noah Terpolilli; siblings, Lois Van Gorder, Jack Logan, Sandra Hoffman, and Jim Logan; serveral nieces and nephews; and loving pets, Bella and Molly.
Friends and family may call from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, February 4th at the First Baptist Church in Penn Yan. His funeral will follow at 1pm at the church with the Rev. Stephen Sanden. Burial with military Honors will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Penn Yan.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Bob to the First Baptist Church of Penn Yan, 224 Main St., Penn Yan, NY 14527 or to the Yates County Humane Society, PO Box 12, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
