Sandra J. Wager

Sandra was born June 26, 1943 in Canandaigua, New York to Ernest and Ida Wright Blauvelt. She graduated from Geneva School of Nursing in 1964. She then worked for Penn Yan Manor, Soldiers and Sailors, Geneva, and Strong Hospitals. She loved to bake and she was very passionate about her profession and her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 12 years, Robert Wager; children, Georgette (Steve) Chisom, of North Carolina and Krista Passalacqua of Penn Yan; grandchildren, Kelsi and Kyle Chisom, and Ryan and Brenden Delaney of Victor, NY; sister, Sue Simmons; brother, George (Pam) Blauvelt and their daughter, Brandee; and extended family, Jeanne (Dale) Hansen, Heidi (James) Maciejewski, Holly (Charles) Moynihan and their children Chip and Shannon, Phil (LouAnne) Wager, Stacy (David) Dayton, their children Dylan and Drew, and Steven Wager. She will be sadly missed by her family and her two furry companions, Shadow and Snowflake.

In accordance with her family’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
