Alton Homer Wilbanks

Mr. Wilbanks was born March 25, 1927 in Walnut, Mississippi to Lester Homer Wilbanks and Ida Mae Lumpkin Wilbanks. Mr. Wilbanks and his wife, Inga, loved to dance. They participated in ballroom dancing and enjoyed the jitterbug. He enjoyed fishing, quail hunting, water skiing and gardening. He always had a garden full of fresh vegetables. He was a quiet and reserved man who was true to his word. He is now dancing with his dear Inga who preceded him in April of this year.

Survivors include his daughters, Judy A. Lamar and Linda K. Webb; grandsons, Robert T. Stone III and his wife, Leuna “Bo”, Gregory S. Webb and Daniel P. Webb; great grandchildren, Dorien Jones, Drew Stone, Talon Stone, Erin Webb, Dylan Webb, Reagan Webb, Carsyn Webb and Tyson Webb and Christopher Webb.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 06, 2018 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
