Andy Nguyen, 91, of Pensacola Florida passed away on Thursday July 15, 2021. He was born in Vietnam to Van Phap Nguyen and Thi loi Tran. Andy was married to Le Thi Tran, they have been married 50 years. Together they have 5 sons and 3 daughters. Andy was a platoon leader for the Army. After retiring, he enjoyed fishing every chance he found. He says it was very peaceful being out on the water.
Andy is preceded in death by his parents Phap Nguyen and Thi loi Tran, and 4 brothers: Truong Nguyen, Mang Nguyen, Ni Nguyen and Thom Nguyen.
He is survived by his wife Le Thi Tran, 5 Sons: Kiet Nguyen, Dung Nguyen, Khanh Nguyen, Grang Nguyen, Hai Nguyen; 3 daughters: CamLoan Nguyen, Cindy Nguyen and Nancy Nguyen. He is also survived by his brother Ne Nguyen and sister Ut Nguyen. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren: Kim Tuoi, Kim Tu, Kim Tuyen, Devana, Alex, Cadence, Fransico Duc, Jason, Shyann, AngLina, Laura, Gwyneth and 1 great-grandson, along with many other friend and family to cherish his memory.
The family has entrusted Eastern Gate Memorial gardens and Funeral Home with arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday July 22, 2021 at 2pm at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 W. Nine Mile Rd, Pensacola, Florida 32534. The funeral service will begin at 3pm with a graveside service to follow.
