

Miss Faye was a native of Pensacola, Florida and worked at Jerry’s Drive-In on Cervantes Street until her retirement last December after more than 56 years of service. She always insisted that she didn’t retire, she was just tired.
Miss Faye couldn’t go anywhere in Pensacola without seeing someone that she knew. Everyone loved Miss Faye, and she loved everyone. Her favorite social activity was her weekly trip to Biloxi on the Good Time Tours bus.
Miss Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Ola and Viola Johnson; sisters, Virgie Houston, Ruby Rodgers, Dorothy White, and Jane Clinton.
She is survived by her sister, Doris Wright; daughter, Norma (Bud) Jennings; her three granddaughters, Dianna (Kevin) Sorensen, Rebecca (Walter) Smith of Pensacola, and Christina (David) Fairey of Bradenton, Florida. She also leaves behind twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. The funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM with entombment following immediately in Bayview Memorial Park.
