

Barbara Dianne Leiterman-Busbee of Pensacola, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10, 2010. Dianne fought a courageous fight with ALS. She touched many peoples' lives with her sweet smile and her willingness to help others. She loved her family.
Dianne is preceded in death by her father, William Leiterman.
Dianne is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Timothy Busbee, mother; Ruby Leiterman, sister: Loretta Jackson, brother-in-law; Robert Jackson, nieces; Candy Sellers and Jamie Jackson, father-in-law; Buddy Busbee. She had numerous cousins, aunts and many friends, both in and outside the U.S.
Dianne earned a B.S. degree from Florida State and a masters and PHD degree from The University of Florida. She worked in education as many different rolls - teacher, assistant principal, and superintendent of Indian Reservation Schools. She also formed two companies after retiring from Washington High School. She formed The Busbee International Education Consultants and travel to Quatar and set up an all girl school for the queen. She also formed the Dianne Busbee Real Estate Incorporated - Serving as a real estate broker in Florida, Alabama and Mississippi. .
Dianne was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic minister for the sick and home-bound parishioners. She was much loved and she will be missed by her family and friends.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the people in MICU at VAB for their care and consideration for Dianne and her family.
The family will receive friends at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. The funeral will be Friday, October 15, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The funeral will proceed to the mausoleum at Bayview Memorial Park.
