Barbara Joann Sandifer, 77, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012. Born Feb. 9, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Richard Runyan and Helen Piro. Joann was a member of North Ridge Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John H. Sandifer. Survivors include her daughter, Judy (Gene) Kerr, her son, Kevin R. Burris, her granddaughter Shannon Locke (Marty, Ryleigh and Taylor), and her grandson Scott Allen (Katie, Nichole and Molly). Funeral services will be on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home in Pensacola. Arrangements under the direction of Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, Pensacola, FL.
