

She was born October 16, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to Jacobus Cornelius and Anna H. Belder.
Her life started in the wild windy city of Chicago, Illinois, where she fell in love with art and the clothing industry. Several stories of catching the train to the city for the day of museums and then to the movies. As a young person wanting to give back, she joined the Candy Stripers League in a local hospital for several years before leaving Chicago for the rural town of Linden, Alabama. As a young adult she enjoyed living in several cities including New Orleans, which gave her a new passion for servitude after an on-call nursing assistant position. Later, finding her roots in Pensacola, Florida, she continued her passion for patient care for close to thirty years at Sacred Heart Hospital. In her last hours she was surround by her “Boys”, family and other loved ones. It was the family’s intentions to honor her wishes to pass in one of our homes by God speed he took her pain away. She passed in her second home of Sacred Heart Hospital. The family’s love of water is what planted us in Pensacola. Her final resting place will be beside passed loved ones in the Gulf at Alabama Point later this year.
Brigitta is survived by sons, Joey L. Foxhall (Nicole) and Timothy E. Kelley (Brianne); grandchildren, Kaleb, Taylor, Kristopher, Brandon, Riley, Matthew, Joseph, Ryan; sister, Edith Eslava (Norman); numerous extended family members, Jacobus Vines (Tanya), Nicolas Belder, Caitlin Wood (Tim), Mike Tavener, Jeremy McClelland, Sam Anoi-Chamberland, Margaret Parker, Dana Vickery.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Anna H. Belder; siblings: Jack C. Belder, John H. Belder; and her Last Love: Timothy E. Kelley Sr.
