Carolyn Sanders, 67 of Seminole, AL ended her battle with cancer and joined our Lord on December 20, 2010. She was surrounded by her family and the caring staff of Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Inpatient Residence.
Carolyn was born in Foley, AL to Ms. Louise Seitz Gatewood and grew up in Pensacola, FL. She married her love, Donald Sanders, 47 years ago. Carolyn graduated from Pensacola Tech and worked at Monsanto until starting her career as a cosmetologist. She owned Carolyn's Hair Center for 36 years before retiring.
Carolyn was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church in Elberta, AL, where she spent her childhood.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Donald Sanders, Seminole, AL; her children, daughter, Kim Attaway and husband, Elliott Attaway; her son, Darrin Sanders and wife, Jennifer Sanders; grandchildren, Seth Attaway and twins Kendall and McKenna Attaway.
Viewing and visitation will be held at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens Funeral Home parlor on December 22, 2010 from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral Services will be held December 23, 2010 at 2:30 with Pastor Keith Ringers presiding.
