Catherine Louise Gordon

Catherine Louise Gordon, age 54 of Pensacola, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2013. She was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky on August 27, 1958.

Cathy attended Maria Reina Catholic High School in San Juan, Puerto Rico, before attending Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Cathy taught elementary school at Saint Paul's Catholic School in Pensacola for 10 years. She later flew with Delta Airlines as a Flight Attendant for nearly 10 years.

Family and friends were Cathy's passion. She was devoted to her parents George and Gladys. Our daughter, our sister our friend was always kind and gentle, someone who even in her darkest hours never complained and showed all of us the true meaning of strength and courage. For her family Cathy is now more alive than ever, living in all of us as an example of God's humble servant.

Cathy is survived by her Mother, and Father, Gladys and George Gordon, her sister Patricia, her three brothers George, James and Bert. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.

A rosary and funeral service will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday August 15, 2013 at Saint Paul's Catholic Church in Pensacola. A burial service will follow at Bayview Memorial Park in Pensacola.
