Claudine Leffler Lankford, age 88, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away January 5, 2012. Claudine was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and spent part of her childhood in Ohio before moving to central Florida in the late 1940s. She was married to E.H. (Al) Case, where she lived in Lake Mary, Fl, and Casselberry, Fl until his death.
In 1975 she married John Robert (Bob) Lankford, blending two families that extended from Florida to Maine. They moved to Satellite Beach, Fl, where they enjoyed thirteen years of a treasured lifestyle that included boating, fishing and all things water related.
They moved to Azalea Trace, Pensacola, Florida in 1990, and Claudine was active in many projects and activities over the years. She especially loved singing in the resident choral groups that presented seasonal programs around Azalea Trace. She was also a member at Saint Luke United Methodist Church of Pensacola.
Her parents, Fannie E. and William J. Leffler, and her sister Thelma B. Smith preceded Claudine in death.
She is survived by sons Roger Case of Orlando, Fl, David Lankford, Oviedo, Fl; Daughters, Barbara Gorman, Sanford, Fl, Peggy Canaday, Tavares, Fl., Linda Dunton, Windsor Me, Susan Morello, Carolina Beach, NC; Step-daughters, LeeAnn Reemer, Milton, Fl, Penny Fisher, North Canton, Oh, Diana Teeter, Sarasota, Fl: 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Private services for the family will be held at Bayview Memorial Park. A memorial service open to all friends will be held at Azalea Trace Auditorium, 10100 Hillview Rd, Pensacola, Fl at 10:00 AM, Saturday January 14, 2012.
