Constance "Connie" Lee Hammond

HAMMOND, Constance “Connie” L, 71 years, of Pensacola passed away December 24, 2015. Born in North Dakota in 1944 into a large family, Connie was the first born daughter to John P and Daisie M Laud. She grew up with a love of being outdoors where she could feel the sunlight on her skin.

Connie and her former husband, Robert L Hammond, were the owners of Hammond Meat Market for many years in Pensacola. Connie then worked and retired from ServeCo, Inc., where she was the office manager.

She is survived by her three children: Monica Hammond, Jon Hammond and Amy Carey; Grandchildren: Miranda, John, Joshua, and Allison, to whom her life had revolved around. Brothers: Jim (Tammy) Laud, Jack (Jodi) Laud, Barry (Dawn) Laud; Sisters Linda Mattson and Michelle Laud; Her constant companion and Beloved Pet: Bella Marie Hammond; and many Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Daisie Laud; Brothers Walter (and his wife Darlene) Laud and Kenneth Laud; Brother-in-Law Kenny Mattson and her former husband Robert L Hammond.

Connie had a great love for her family and her spirit will live on through her children and grandchildren who will forever remember her with love and laughter in their hearts.

Visitation will be held Tuesday December 29, 2015 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm with the Funeral Service to follow at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Burial will at Bayview Memorial Park
