Donald L. Wright

1927 – 2013

TSGT Donald L. Wright, USAF (Ret.), 85, of Pensacola, died Friday, August 23, 2013.

Mr. Wright was born August 25, 1927 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. At the age of seventeen he enlisted in the U.S. Navy for four years, and then joined the U. S. Air Force from which he retired after twenty one years of total service. Upon entering civilian life he went to work for the U. S. Postal Service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Stefani Wright and baby boy Wright.

Survivors include his sons, Charles Vernon Wright (Merry) and Larry David Wright (Mary-Jean); daughter, Linda Faye Hudson (Paul); grandchildren, David Earl Wright, Michelle Marie Nicholas (Justin), Tonya Morefield (Joe), Tiara Dabney (Sam), Kimberly Brown (Jamie) and Eric Furnans; and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Brother Kevin Krist.

Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park with full military honors.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
