Douglas is survived by his son Douglas Michael Burleson, Jr, Foley, Alabama; His brothers Steve Burleson, and Edison Burleson; His sister Sara Davis; His niece Dawn Barwick, and his granddaughter Shaylee Miller.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. A Committal Service will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 24, 2017
