Earl Robert Douglas Jr.

Earl R. Douglas Jr., age 82, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Monday February 11, 2019. Earl was born in Pensacola on September 21, 1936 to Earl and Amanda Douglas. Earl's passion in life was fishing and his love and devotion to his family and friends. He retired from the United States Navy after 30 years of service to his country.

Earl was preceded in death by his loving parents and brothers Johnny and Buddy Douglas. He is survived by his daughters Arlene (Greg) Nichols, Darlene Perkins and Pamela (Joseph) Colvin; sons Ronald and Ricky Douglas; sisters Florence Guthrie, Joyce Melvin, Glenda Thompson, Dale Foshee and Elaine Kleinschmidt; brothers Gene and Carl Douglas; special friend Vanessa Wilson and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Earl will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL 32506. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Bethel Baptist Church, 3097 Patricia Drive, Pensacola, FL 32506. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, FL 32508.
