1924 - 2014
Esther Jean Jones passed away on July 16, 2014 peacefully at home. She was preceded by her husband Henry E. Jones, grand-daughter Kathy Jones, father John Quincey Wise, mother Estelle Bell Wise, step-mother Mattie Caraway Wise, brothers J.Q., Lawrence, Wendell, John Earl and Wayne Wise, sisters Joyce Franklin and Jo Frances O’Shields.
She is survived by her son John M. (Phyllis) Jones daughter Diane (Clarke) Cunningham, 6 grandchildren, Sheila (Eric) Hall, Jerry Murph, Sherry Bryson, Tammy Cleveland, Justin (Rachel) Wiggins and Jessica Trice. 14 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren, brothers Burl (Nina) Wise, Lamar (Jennie) Wise and Sisters Jeanette Strother and Martha (Lenny) Velasco.
Visitation will be held at 9:00am on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, Pensacola, Florida with funeral service at 10:00am and burial following at Myrtle Grove Cemetery. Pastor Bill Adams will officiate.
