

Fran was born on May 9, 1935 in Quincy, IL. She attended Duke University School of Nursing where she received her BSN degree with honors, and was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority, as well as the synchronized swimming team there. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church and later, Azalea Trace Church. She was a member of the Lazy Daisy Garden Club and Impact 100. For many years, Fran volunteered much of her time at Sacred Heart Pediatric Hospital. Fran enjoyed being a part of her community throughout her years. She was a past president of the Medical Auxiliary, Member of Junior Cotillion Board and several dance clubs, volunteer driver with Meals on Wheels, and even directed weddings at First United Methodist Church for many years. She was truly a giving and kind-hearted soul.
Frances was preceded in passing by her parents, Carl F.H. Pfeiffer and Winifred VanNess Pfeiffer and her brother, Carl Pfeiffer.
Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Dr. Charles Terrell Sr.; children, Charles Terrell Jr., Gregory A. Terrell (Kristine) and Susan L. Goodwin (fiancé, Allen McDowell); grandchildren, Thomas M. Goodwin (Sierra), Jeffrey A. Goodwin (Meredith) and Anna L. Goodwin; along with 3 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Pfeiffer; and several nieces and nephews.

The Terrell family extends heartfelt thanks to the nurses and workers at Willowbrooke Court at Azalea Trace for their compassion and support during this difficult time.
A celebration of life will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 at 2PM. Friends are welcome to gather for a visitation beginning at 1PM.
