Freddie Humdy was the eldest child of Alfred Crowe and Annie Mae Crowe. Born in Monroeville, Alabama she spent her formative years in Pensacola, Florida where she married United States Navy Chief Petty Officer Cecil Humdy, and travelled the world as a military spouse. She was an excellent chef, professional tailor, and clothing designer. While living as a navy spouse she mastered the Japanese trained traditional art of stitching known as Sashiko and designed some of the most exquisite art pieces still showcased in homes around the globe due to her unyielding generosity.
During her life she and her husband owned a small business in Pensacola, Florida and both served their church homes for all 97 years of her life. Freddie is survived by a host of family of friends who adored her. A committed servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With the spirit of a sharp wit and formidable mastery of forceful speech, she lived a peaceful blessed life, giving her family and extended family members the blessing of knowing her love for them and our Savior Jesus Christ.
It is through the knowledge of the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit that we fully understand even though she has transitioned from us now, she is present with our Lord. We fully acknowledge that her life with Christ is now eternally at rest with God.
