Wayne was born July 16, 1951 in Pensacola, Florida to Glenn and Betty Gray Jenkins. He attended and graduated from Bay High School in Panama City. During his 30 year employment with Southern Bell Telephone, Wayne had worked in Coco Beach, Panama City and Pensacola before retiring.
Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Gray Jenkins; sister, Paula Perkins; grandparents, Lummie and Gladys Gray.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jenkins; son, Nathan Jenkins; father, Glenn A. Jenkins and wife, Evelyn Jenkins; brother, Ronald Jenkins of Daphne, AL; four stepchildren and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 01, 2016 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Dr. Dale Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
