Gladys was born in Lucedale, Mississippi on Oct. 17, 1935. She passed away on Dec. 5, 2013 at the age of 77 in Pensacola, FL. Mrs. Blizzard was preceded in death by her husband William Pierce Blizzard and one son William Dondi Blizzard; parents Edward Victor Cowarts, Sr. and Annie Gibson Cowart. She spent most of her life rasing her children and she loved to do embroidery and dearly loved children and small dogs. Gladys is survived by her three sons, Michael Anthony (Theresa) Blizzard, Phillip (Delia) Blizzard, Daniel Wayne Blizzard; daughter, Romona (Jerry) Beaudry; step daughter, Ava Suzanne Lumpkin Bravo; grandchildren, Michael Robinson Blizzard, Justin Adam (Tabitha) Blizzard, Josiah David Blizzard, Adam Beaudry, Johathan Bravo and two other grandchildren; two great grandchidren; two sisters, Louise Helton and Nora Morrison; brother Jimmy (Christine) Cowart. Gladys was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
