Glenn Roberson

Glenn Franklin Roberson was born September 1, 1942 in New Madrid, Missouri to Jobie and Ruby Roberson. He received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. Glenn attended Pensacola Bible Institute and graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity Degree in 1996. His business career included owning and operating a gas station and several other managerial positions in the flooring business, the last being Ceramic Tile Manager with Jones Floor Covering in Pensacola, from which he retired. He served as treasurer of Bible Baptist Church until the time of his death.

Glenn was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, a Step-Son Brian Higgins and a Son-in-Law Don Ritchie.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen of 30 years, daughters Deborah Kehoe (Steve), Glenda Williams, Pamela Ritchie and Renee Mueller (Rob); Step-Children Michael Higgins and Tracy Myers (David). A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sisters Loretta Cooper and Loreeta Green, and Brothers Kenny and James. His favorite verse in the Bible was Isaiah 40:31.

Glenn was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather with a generous nature and an ever-present sense of humor who loved and trusted the Lord, believed the King James 1611 Bible to be the word of God from cover to cover and taught his children to do the same.

Eastern Gate Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A visitation will be held on December 24,2020 from 10-11am at Bible Baptist Church, 1173 JoJo Rd, Pensacola, Florida. 32514, the service will immediately follow at 11:00am.
