

Harry Lovell Drake, Navy Ret., 67, “Pops” of Pensacola, FL passed away, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Baptist Hospital, Pensacola, FL. He was born to the late Magnus Lovell and Leona Pearl (nee: Pryor) on January 19, 1948 in Perry County, Indiana. Serving honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and Harry moved from Norfolk, VA to Pensacola, FL in 1987 and retired from the U.S. Navy April 30, 1990. He then joined Raytheon Aerospace for three years. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and Am Vets. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sandra Kay Drake “Kay”; children, Barbara Drake (Matthew) Keferl, Marcus (Billie-Jo) Drake, Rosco Deel, and Tom Osbourn; brothers, Dan (Mel) Drake and Mike (Jenny) Drake; sisters, Suzie (Denny) Thorn, and Carol (Chuck) Richter; brother-in- laws, Terry Rogers, and Tim Rogers; sister-in- law, Susie Butcher; grandchildren, Charles (Ashley) Barber, Brittany Autry, and Rebecca Minzer; great grandchildren, Nicholas Barber, Makayla Croom, Tyler Nelson, Victoria Croom, Brody Parker, Kylie Barber, Charlie Barber, and Bentley Selman. S. Navy will present honors to his widow, Kay. U.S. Navy Retired Harry Lovell Drake, will be placed in Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL.
