Helen was born April 09, 1927 in Ashland, Kentucky to Earl Meeks and Okie Rose Meeks. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Ann Bax.
Survivors include her husband, Erwin Leroy “Lee” Whetsel; sons, Erwin Leroy Whetsel, Jr., Matthew Whetsel and Christopher Whetsel; daughters, Cheryl Boyce, Vicki Smith and Stephanie Arnold; twenty one grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 30, 2015 at Calvary Way Full Gospel Church with Rev. Carl Shiver and Rev. Jim Diamond officiating.
Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
