Hugh Dwight Smith was born on 25 August 1929 in Mission, Texas. His parents were Hugh and Ommie Smith. He is survived by a daughter Janice Nicholson and son Paul Smith, 2 grandchildren; Christina Nicholson and Micah Nicholson; one sister Marguerite Rowe of Webster, Texas.
A visitation will be Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am with a funeral service to follow at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. An interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Oak Lawn Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
