Ida Bernice Veazey, 102, of Pensacola passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Consulate Retirement of Pensacola. She was a native of Alabama and was a seamstress and housewife. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Pensacola.
Survivors include her niece, Jewel Francis; niece, Sybil Hart; nephew, Billy Nichols; niece, Mae Davis; niece, Bobby Walters; nephew, Charles Snow and many great nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered affectionately as “Aunt Necie”. Even though life on earth has ended for Necie, her Heavenly Father and loving husband (Ern) and family will meet her in Heaven.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Interment will be at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to express heartfelt appreciation to the staff of the Consulate Retirement Home for the tender care of Aunt Necie during the past 14 years.
