Irene Parker Fell

1919 – 2014

Irene Parker Fell passed away peacefully on October 14. Born in Texas, she grew up in downtown Pensacola, spent her married years in Perdido Key, Florida, and then in her later years she moved to Foley, Alabama. She was a devoted wife and mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother, and a treasured friend. Her biggest joy was spending time with her two sons. Irene also loved Auburn football, baseball, playing board games and she was always ready for a road trip. Irene loved babies and worked for many years in her church nursery. Her sweet spirit and unconditional love will be forever remembered. She was preceded in death by her husband Marion V. Fell, and her son Kirk L. Fell. She is survived by her son Keith (Cindy) Fell of Pensacola, her daughter in law Kay Fell of Mobile, grandchildren Kristi (Willie) Brown, Karla Fell, Keith Fell, Jr., Parker Fell; six great grandchildren, brother Arnold Parker, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 18, 2014 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home at 619 New Warrington Road with a “Celebration of her Life” beginning at 9:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Union Hill Baptist Cemetery.
