

Jim was born in Nashville, Tennessee and lived in West Nashville most of his life before moving to Pensacola in 1999. He was a graduate of Cohn High School. He was a proud Marine 1968-1971 "Semper-Fi".
He worked for many years at Baird-Ward printing company as a pressman, and then at Rich printing company. After moving to Pensacola, he worked for SEDC at NAS Pensacola as a forklift driver/warehouse worker for the past twenty-five years.
Jim loved his family and also was an animal lover. Besides our own pets, many a stray had a full belly because of him. When not at work, he just wanted to be at home with his family.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James Milton Furlow and Goldie Bell Furlow; sister, Shirley and brother, Ronnie.
Jim is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Barbara Furlow and daughter, Wenona (Wendy) Furlow.
Jim/Daddy was loved very much and will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, located at 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL, 32506, on December 11, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue in the main chapel on December 12, 2025, starting at 5:00 pm.
