

James “Jim” Kelly, 75, of Pensacola, Florida passed away August 30, 2017. A visitation will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service to follow on Friday, September 8, 2017. An interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery at 2:00 pm with the Patriot Guard to process along with friends and family. Jim was born March 10, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to Francis and Dorothy Kelly. He graduated from Parma Senior High School in 1960. He retired in 1991 with 30 years of service in the U.S. Navy as Master Chief. He was recognized for his outstanding loyalty, performance, and dedication of Search and Rescue. Jim was devoted to our nation and proud to serve next to his fellow sailors. He traveled and explored the world. He enjoyed boating, darts, house renovations, and dominos with his friends along with a beer and a cigar!
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Maria Teresa Ruiz and his second wife Jimmie Dean Jones. He is survived by his 4 daughters; Marie McKenzie, Rose Stokes, Barbara Olander, and Spring Kelly Russell, sister; Rose Monolly, brother; William Kelly. He is also survived by grandchildren; Michael Dorgan, Mariah McKenzie, Alexis McKenzie, Sara Barlanti, Chelsea Stokes, Ryan Olander, Robert (Hyejin) Olander, and Elijah, Aubrey, Isaiah, Ashley, and Bentlee Russell along with his beloved pet Ellie.
