James Avery Kennedy, age 79, of Cantonment, Florida passed away on Thursday December 20, 2018. James was born June 28, 1939 in Pensacola, Florida to Jessie Lee and Cheatham Kennedy.

James retired from Arizona Chem. He enjoyed fishing and being with family.

James is survived by his wife, Joyce M. Kennedy; son David Kennedy; daughter Shanda Butler; brother Rick Kennedy; and seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by; son Michael Kennedy; mother Jessie Lee and father Cheatham Kennedy; sister Norma Woodberry and sister Glenda Wood.
