James E. Lister age 71 of Molino passed away on Nov. 11, 2012. James was a founding member of Four Star Drywall Inc. and a member of “The Thunder Bolts Bowling Team” for over 40 years. Mr. Lister was an active sportsman with interest in softball, hunting, and fishing. He loved to collect cigarette lighters and knives. He was also an avid Alabama fan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mabern Lister. James is survived by his wife, Virginia (Jenny) Lister; three sons, Tony (Michelle) Lister, David Lister, James (Amy) Kelley; two adopted sons, Scott Lister and JR Blackwell; four grandchildren, Megan Shawn, Gavin, Aidan; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd (Linda) Lister, Roy (Rita) Lister; three sisters, Jean (Diane) Rogers, Faye (Albert) Blum, Pat Salakas; brother-in-law, Milton “Frankie” Browning; sister-in-law, Barbara Lister. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Eastern Gate Funeral Home with the funeral service starting at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Parker, Roy Parker, Chris Lister, Gary Roger, Jack Salakas and James Earl Blum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
