Jeanette volunteered at West Florida Hospital for many years. She successfully completed the EMT program and received her certification on May 7, 1976. She never met a stranger and was the sweetest person ever.
She was preceded in death by her 3 daughters Marilyn Zylstra, Joanie Jackson, and Tammy Hooks; her parents, 1 sister, and 2 brothers.
She is survived by her daughter Sherry Nims; grandchildren, Derek Zylstra, Kenny Campbell, Dustin Nims, and Brittany Yerg; several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to thank Olive Branch Health and Rehabilitation Center for going above and beyond to make sure she got the best care. She loved being there and always felt safe. Thank you for all for taking such good care of my “Sweet Mama.”
A visitation will be held at 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow.
