Joanie C. McLarney, October 7, 1952, passed away into peace on Novem`ber 23, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents D.E. and Dorothy Sunderland, her former husband John A. McLarney and Sister Carolyn June Hamilton.
She is survived by sisters Janie (Jon) Durbin, Judy (Lester L.) Godwin, friend Herman Henderson and several nieces and nephews. Joanie never had any children of her own but she loved and rescued a great many four-legged animal babies in her lifetime.
She was a former nurse and cared for people in her profession for many years. She was kind, compassionate, had a zest for life and she loved to laugh and share a good meal. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife and friend. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten. She is now at peace-in the arms of the good Lord. She will have no more pain or confusion and someday we will see each other again. Happy Trails, sis.
She is interred at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Gardens, Pensacola, Florida.
