He was born October 27, 1950 in Norfolk, Virginia. Joe and his family moved to Pensacola in 1965 where he attended Escambia High School. Upon graduation he began a career in Commercial HVAC and Mechanical Services that spanned more than five decades. Joe met the love of his life, Ann Bilinski, a nurse, and they raised their family in Pensacola.
Joe was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and Paw-Paw. He lived life with a kind heart and selfless attitude, always willing to give and never asking for anything in return. The only thing he enjoyed more than a hard day’s work was swimming, boating, barbequing, and entertaining his beloved family and friends. Other than his love of the outdoors, he will forever be remembered cheering on his beloved Florida Gators, providing a pearl of wisdom, or giving a well needed embrace.
Joe is welcomed into heaven by his parents, Joseph and Doris Bilinski, his brother-in-law, Ken Young, along with many friends.
Left to remember his love are his children Jody (Christa) Bilinski, Kerry (Patrick) Hammergren, and Barry Edwards, his brothers Michael (Donna) Bilinski and John (Gloria) Bilinski, his sisters Andrea (Clay) White and Jan Young, and his grandchildren Levi, Maddie, Eva, Reid, and Sean.
Joe, “We’ll see ya later!”
Friends are cordially invited to a Celebration of Life at 10:00 am Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Oaklawn Funeral Home.
